The City Clerk’s office maintains all official City papers, records, public documents, minutes, and files of the City Commissions, Boards and Trusts; and publishes ordinances, notices, agendas and other public documents. Maintains all minutes of Commission proceedings, with the Mayor signing and attesting all ordinances and resolutions and serves as the official custodian of the City Seal.
The City Clerk’s office receives all lawsuits, protests, appeals, claims, bids and administers all regular and special municipal elections in coordination with the county election board and in compliance with Oklahoma election law and Municipal Charter.
The City Clerk’s office processes public information requests in compliance with Oklahoma Open Records Act.
