WATER METER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NEARING COMPLETION
The City of Pauls Valley Water Department is pleased to announce that its water meter repair, replacement, and upgrade project is nearing completion.
For several months, Water Department employees have worked throughout the city to correct a long-standing meter-reading problem. Crews have repaired or replaced meters and upgraded the equipment necessary to connect meters to the City’s radio-read system.
Once the project is complete, water meters throughout the city will provide accurate and timely readings through the radio system. This will improve the efficiency of the meter-reading process, provide customers with better information about their water usage, and help the City identify leaks or unusual usage more quickly.
This project represents a significant improvement to Pauls Valley’s water system and reflects the Water Department’s continued commitment to providing dependable service and addressing long-standing infrastructure needs.
As the upgraded meters begin reporting actual water usage, some customers may notice a change in their monthly bill. Customers with questions may contact the City of Pauls Valley Utility Billing Department.
